Orrong & Oats
In 2015, Soundspacedesign were commissioned by the Matzin Corporation of Perth to design a further new 4-storey commercial building on the corner of Orrong and Oats Road in Perth ~ that incorporated a solar-powered digital billboard as part of its architectural logic, not as an add-on or afterthought.
The LED screen resides within a series of stacked rectangular volumes that swivel in response to the most ideal solar and view orientations per floor.
