The Blue Room
The South African headquarters for SOUND SPACE DESIGN between 2015~2016 were based in a Sardinian Style 5-bedroom house in Sandton that had previously been converted into offices.
We took it back a step into residential again, with an eclectic Klein Blue twist!
Plan of the conjoined live-work areas
The office bleeds into the living areas creating an informal live-work relationship
The dining room doubles as an informal meeting room with the lounge beyond.
Eclectic furnishings in convey a worldly theme throughout soundspace 5.
A painting by Nigel Mullins on a charcoal wall grounds the master bedroom.
The Klein Blue paint was custom made and applied.
