Voyager High Desert Retreat
Drawing on the legacy of the Voyager Boutique Creative Retreat in Bali, Voyager's next boutique hotel development has set its sights on the extraordinary landscape and attractions of the Mojave Desert near the Joshua Tree National Park in California.
With stunning alien landscapes and kooky neighbours like Giant Rock and the Integratron, Voyager has once again landed in a science-fiction inspired setting, but this time only 2 1/2 hours from Los Angeles International Airport. Designed as an off-grid eco-resort combining traditional "passive thermal design" with modern "passive haus" design principles, the eight bedroom boutique hotel features creative spaces for art and music production, and will cater to creative adventurers who are keen to hike, explore and partake in the high desert's many exciting attractions.

With rammed earth fins onto each room balcony, guests can expect passive thermal control.
A series of wide passages surrounds the welcoming open-plan reception and allows for art exhibitions.
